Achievements

ENAC Accreditation

The Council has worked hard to obtain as many accreditations as possible for certified products. Thus, the CCPAE has been accredited by ENAC (Entidad Española de Acreditación – Spanish Accreditation Organization) in accordance with European standard EN-45011. Consequently, the Council’s official jurisdiction is recognized internationally, thereby increasing consumer confidence in CCPAE-certified products.

Accreditation for Export to the USA

The CCPAE is accredited by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) through the NOP (National Organic Program). This means that its products are certified for export to the US.

Accreditation for Export to Quebec

The CAAQ (Conseil des Appellations Agroalimentaires du Québec) has accredited CCPAE-certified products as organic products that can be sold in Quebec.

Agreement with Bio Inspecta

In August 2005, an agreement was signed with the Swiss controlling organization Bio Inspecta, through which the CCPAE assumes responsibility for inspecting Catalan operators certified by Bio Inspecta in accordance with the Delinat standard.

This agreement provides a service to grape and wine producers who want to sell their products with the Delinat stamp, as they no longer have to be inspected by Bio Inspecta as well as CCPAE.
